Scott and Rosena have been married since 1990 and are blessed with 3 wonderful children, Chelsea, Tyler and Logan. They have attended Calvary UPC for over a decade. Since attending Calvary Scott and Rosina have been involved with Sunday School for over 5 years, Currently involved with teaching the Young Married Class.

Jess & Rachelle Gay

Ministry Staff / Singles Directors

Jess & Rachelle Gay came to Calvary in 2008 and have been hard at work since! Married for 13 years and blessed with 4 children, they are a great asset to our team. Rachelle sings with the Ensemble and Jess assists with hospital visitations and leading service. They are the head of the Single's Ministry to lead and direct them into personal revival.

Leon & Annette Hurst

"Yesterday's Youth" Elder Care Leaders

Leon has served the church in many different capacities for over 50 years. Together with his wife Annette, they work with the senior saints of Calvary. They also oversee the outreach activities of Calvary's senior saints and work to integrate them into the 21st century church.

Justin & Carly Newbury

Music Director

Justin and Carly Newbury are the Music Ministers at Calvary UPC and have been involved in Music Ministry for over 10 years. Justin is originally from Chicago Heights, IL and has been playing piano from the age of 10.  He has felt the call to ministry from an early age.  In 2003 He started attending Indiana Bible College.  It was there that he met his wife, Carly, who also attended Indiana Bible College. Justin graduated in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree of Arts in music.  He has had the opportunity to minister across the United States.  They have been music ministers in Appleton, WI, and North Carolina and have done choir clinics throughout the country.  Carly Newbury is originally from Indianapolis, IN. where she attended Calvary Tabernacle. She has served as a Sunday school teacher involved with Jesus House Ministries. Justin and Carly are blessed with two children, Mason and Ella.

Craig & Sarah O'Brien

Craig and Sarah moved to Calvary from Maryland in 2009 and serve as the Youth Pastor while also assisting Sarah's parents, David & Kim Ramsey, with the children's ministry, Street RAGE, and Sunday School. Craig & Sarah are actively involved in the music ministry at Calvary with Craig playing bass and Sarah praise singing. They have been married for 5 years and have a beautiful daughter, Kaylee Grace.

Pam Qualls

Puppets Director

Pam has been involved in the puppets ministry for 16 years now, assisted by her son, Derek. Together Pam & Derek bring the team of Praisin' Puppets to the city of Jonesboro, serving as entertainment for the annual Hytrol Christmas dinner as well as various other community events.

Brock Runyan

Brock has been serving in youth ministry since his high school graduation in 2004.  He has worked in Winslow, AR and Booneville, AR, as well as interning in Fort Smith, AR.  As a student at Gateway College of Evangalism his focus was on pastoral studies and youth ministry work.

David & Kim Ramsey

Children's Pastors

David is a licensed minister with the UPCI and has been the director of Calvary's children's ministry for 4 years. His prior experience includes 17 years as a children's pastor, 10 years of teaching Sunday School classes. 7 years of bus ministry and international kids revivals. Kim's previous experience includes 26 years of praise singing, 11 years of tutoring at-risk children and 16 years of children's choir, as well as assisting David with pastoring children. Together, David & Kim have co-authored tracts and 4 Sunday School curriculum books. One of the most notable contributions made by David & Kim was the foundation of "Street RAGE (Reaching A Generation Effectively)". Street RAGE has been active in Jonesboro for 4 years, and reaches out to lower-income families. Street RAGE sets up a stage in the Cedar Heights neighborhood every Saturday. They sing, teach and reach out to the inner city children. Before coming to Jonesboro, the Ramsey's hosted Street RAGE in Blytheville for 17 years.

Terry Ross

Bus Ministry Director / Men's Ministry

Terry has attended Calvary for several years now. It is his vision to reach out to the children of Jonesboro and make sure they have a way to get to church.

Terry & Maribeth Snow

Youth Committee / Music

Terry and Maribeth Snow has served as the youth pastor for 16 years. Terry assists with the administration of each department. Maribeth is the lead vocalist for Calvary's music team. They have been married for 19 years and have two boys, Ethan and Clayton.
